Purdue Taekwondo Club

What We Do
Purdue Taekwondo club is a Corec club sport and student organization dedicated to practicing the Korean martial art of Taekwondo.
We meet three times a week, twice for regular/demo practice and once for sparring practice. During the hour of regular practice, we do target drills, exercises, forms etc. while learning and practicing a diverse set of martial arts techniques. In the hour that follows, our demo team practices for performances held during events across campus. On Saturday, we have our 2 hour sparring practice, where we train olympic style Taekwondo sparring.
For events, we hold a belt test and a club tournament per semester, and we sprinkle in various other cross-club collaborations, community service, and fundraising events.
All skill levels are welcome to join, and we are always looking forward to meeting new people!
